inflame conceptualised and realised the Volvo Beach Area for the summer ISPO in Munich. The task was to create a place of relaxation and effortless communication. It soon became apparent that the participants thought the Volvo Beach Lounge was a welcome change from the typical chaotic expositions they were used to.

VOLVO IAA LOUNGE

The Volvo Visitor’s Lounge

Volvo made their presence felt at the IAA 2005 with the usual clean design and Volvo feeling for life: The Lounge at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel offered its visitors a relaxing oasis within the bustling trade fair environment. The two-room concept hosted formal speeches and provided a venue for communicative messages. Bright colors and transparent materials formed a strong contrast to the hotel lobby decor and gave the lounge a strong and unique character. High design standards and the zeitgeist of the Volvo brand left a lasting impression. In addition to the accreditation courses hosted in the lounge, the cozy venue doubled as a relaxing environment for the Trade Fair Talk discussions.

VOLVO XC60 LAUNCH EVENT

'From Sweden with Love' - Based on an international communications strategy, inflame enhanced and further developed the launch concept of the "Love Factory". Bringing together elements of nature, auto design and factory production, inflame created an intergrated showcase where these contrasting elements could be cleverly combined. Surrounded by technology and nature, the Volvo XC60 was the star of the evening, acclaimed and celebrated by Volvo dealers and salespeople alike.

VOLVO C30 WORKSHOP

In 2006 the new Volvo C30 captured a new market segment which appealed to a young, ambitious and up and coming target group. The employees had to become more familiar with this new consumer. Inflame developed a series of workshops whereby the participants could personally get to know the new target group. In their homes! The dealers, salespeople, sales managers and owners in six German cities had the opportunity to develop the sales strategy for the new Volvo C30 in a "slightly different" conference environment. Every room was arranged according to the typical living environment of the target group: sport, music, art, technology and design.

VOLVO DEALER CONFERENCE

Berlin

inflame co-ordinated the national dealer conference in Berlin 2006. The introduction of the new management team for Volvo Car Germany and effective motivation and innovation for the model were the focus of the event. After the dealer conference the participants experienced in full the "New Volvo Family", the youthful, ambitious and aspiring Volvo C30 target group: The U3 tunnel at Potsdamer Platz was the venue for the evening and was transformed into a cool, modern loft whose open plan kitchen living area and lounge were tailored to the tastes of the Volvo C30 target market. Carrera race tracks, table football, parcour shows, table tennis games and a molecular kitchen, provided some interaction and symbolised the new challenges facing the dealers.

VOLVO PARTNER CONFERENCE

Tarragona, Spain

This year’s Volvo Partner Conference was set beneath the Spanish sunshine. The 500 participants (rotating over 4 days) had optimal conditions to experience the dynamic test drive of the new Volvo C70. After a short conference and a themed dinner the unveiling of the new Volvo S80 was the high point of the evening. Lennart Stegland (Business Manager of Volvo Car Germany): "The concept of the event fitted perfectly and the Volvo feeling was integrated as the central theme. With a lot of care and detail as well as unobtrusive onsite set-up, inflame contributed significantly to the success of our dealer conference."
